About me

I'm Steve, living in North Yorkshire. Wrote my first novel last year and about to publish the second. Ideas brewing constantly for characters and new material, only working full time hinders the opportunities. I travel a lot in my work (unexciting world of HR and Payroll Software Consultancy) mainly to London which as well giving me some space to write I meet a lot of different people and see many place. I fear if I was in one place all the time my inspirations might dwindle.

I have published a novel with some investment from myself. Would be nice if it was the day job but even so, happy to keep on writing. Stories are everywhere the only thing missing is the time to write them down

It is character driven story which challenges us to see what's going on behind the doors of institutions we take for granted. A Hierarchy of Reason - to be published June 2012. A political thriller like no other has the UK held to ransom in the middle of the winter storms of 2010. Five hostages passionate in pursuing their individual crusades but equally passionate in their dislike for each other are forced to work together in the face of death. The story is turned on it's head as the terrorists plans collapse disastrously in the storms and they are forced onto a new and more dangerous trajectory. In five days Britain may never be the same again as S.G.Norris shows us how the world of scandal politics can be far more sinister then we ever believed.
